Originally from Montreal, Ivan graduated from McGill University with a Bachelor of Commerce degree in 1987 and obtained his CA designation in January 1990. He articled at the firm of Richter, Usher & Vineberg and spent the next ten years obtaining extensive experience in the areas of taxation, auditing and business advisory services while serving on many internal committees including GST advisory and professional standards.

In 1997, Ivan moved to Toronto to further his career and has continued to practice public accounting ever since. In 1998 he obtained the designation of Certified Financial Planner (CFP) which added to his ability to provide a wide range of services to his clients.

In addition to his accounting practice, is a partner in AJAG Professional Development (www.ajag.ca) which he co-founded in 2003. AJAG offers continuing education courses to accountants.

Ivan served as Treasurer of Thornhill Nursery School and Kindergarten from 2003-2006 and has been the Treasurer of the Thornhill Slo-Pitch Softball League since 2010.
